Abstract:
The role of the startup chair is a poorly understood and under-utilised. We are keen to demystify the role and clarify expectations of what makes a great chair. In doing so we hope to increase both take-up and pipeline. Our ultimate ambition is to accelerate and enhance the impact of technology startups operating in our ecosystem
Sapphire & Steel, in conjunction wth Omnigenix, have conducted a wide-ranging series of interviews with Non-Exec Chairs and with Founders of high growth technology startups across multiple industry sectors.
The conclusions of the research were presented at the Bristol Technology Festival in October 2022.
